Grief and Grace – A Journey through Pregnancy Loss
Read personal stories from Australian and American families who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage (a baby born before 20 weeks), stillbirth (the death of a baby after 20 weeks but before birth), and neonatal death (a live born baby who dies within 28 days of birth).

Welcome

No matter what stage of pregnancy that your baby dies, the loss will be heartbreaking for your family. Before our baby died in the winter of 2004, it never occurred to me that I might lose my baby. After her death I yearned for understanding, compassion and support. I needed time to grieve, and time to adjust to the gaping hole in our family, a hole left by the death of a very important member.

It is hard for others who have not lost a baby to understand the pain you are going through. None of us come into this life equipped to comfort someone in their grief; it is a learned thing.  Experience is a great teacher though, and from my experience of the loss of a child I offer you this book.

Find strength and support as you read through personal stories from families who have survived the loss of a child.  Remember, when you feel alone and isolated in your grief there is help available.
